How we look after your information

Who we are

Frontpoint is run by the owners of the apartments on this site. When this page says "we" or "us", that's who it means. You can reach us at info@frontpoint.co.nz or on 027 252 5013.

What we collect and why

• Enquiries and viewing requests: your name, how to contact you and what you tell us, so we can arrange a viewing or answer your question.
• Applications: the details on the application form, so we can decide who to offer an apartment to. We only ask for what we need for that decision. We don't ask for bank statements, and we don't ask about things the law says we can't take into account, like your family situation, religion or ethnicity.
• References: we only contact your referees or landlord if you tick the box saying we can.
• Credit checks: we never run one without your written permission.
• Tenants: if you rent from us, we keep your tenancy details, payments and maintenance requests so we can manage the tenancy, and you can see them in the tenant portal.

Who sees it

Only the owners. We never sell your information or pass it to marketers. It's stored with the services we use to run the site and our email and calendar, which keep it secure for us. We'd only share it with anyone else if the law requires it, for example with Tenancy Services when lodging a bond.

How long we keep it

If we don't go ahead with your application, we delete it within six months. Tenancy records are kept for as long as the law requires after a tenancy ends, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Just email us and we'll respond within 20 working days, usually much sooner. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Cookies

The site uses only the cookies it needs to work, such as keeping you signed in to the tenant portal. We don't use advertising trackers.
